born at Kipu, Kaua'i on October 7, 1911.WShe
studied ancient religious practices, chant, hula, legends and language
with Papa David K. Bray and with Tutu Mary Kawena Puku'i.WShe
also learned many cultural practices and philosophy from her kupuna and
their associates from both sides of her family. |
